  • Directive 95/46/EC was implemented in Spain by the ‘Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal’, which is the Data Protection Act.
  • The ‘Real Decreto 1720/2007, de 21 de diciembre’ develops the Data Protection Act.
  • Ley 41/2002, de 14 de noviembre’, applies to health data protection, and the ‘Ley 14/2007, de 3 de Julio’ applies to biomedical research.
