Hungary
Language of privacy
Literally speaking even the “right to private life” is not mentioned in the Constitution, even though the expression “magánéleti jogok” is known and used by scholars. But instead of using a general privacy right, right to good reputation is singled out among the constitutional rights. Under the text of the Constitution of the Hungarian Republic: Section 59 (1) In the Republic of Hungary everyone has the right to the good standing of his reputation, the inviolability of his home and the protection of secrecy in private affairs and personal data. (2) A majority of two-thirds of the votes of the Members of Parliament present is required to pass the law on the secrecy of personal data.
