Language of privacy

Privacy has always been recognized within the law. With application for accession to the EU, subsequently achieved, a Data Protection Act (following the guidelines on the EU directive) was enacted. This generated a lot of educational debate within all areas.

General information on privacy, bio-banks and genetic databases

There have as such been no formal studies, qualitative or quantitative on public attitudes toward genetic privacy and/or bio banking. However, the general awareness was raised by the Bioethics Committee when proposing a law for biolegislation.
